The nature of DISAPPOINTMENT and how it’s actually a really good thing!

Disappointment has it’s roots based in expansion. All forms of disappointment are based on the desire to expand but the process being hindered in some way or another. For example, you may be experiencing negative emotion because the train you need to catch hasn’t arrived on time. The activity that it hinders is your need to be somewhere, doing something. This effect on your expansion leads to the feeling of disappointment. This can be applied to many different examples:

  1. Your partner not behaving in a way you expect. Perceived hinderance in the expansion of: Love
  2. You not being able to find a job. Perceived hinderance in the expansion of:Money
  3. Your children getting into trouble at school. Perceived hinderance in the expansion of: Their growth

On an energetic level, disappointment is always an indicator of the need for expansion, on some level, at your ideal pace.

Why disappointment is actually a good thing:

Imagine you are baking bread. When the uncooked bread mix is placed in the oven, itexpands first. From this newly expanded place, the actual process of cooking occurs from inside the loaf. During the time when this internal cooking process actually occurs, and when expansion has ceased, it may appear from the outside as though nothing is happening, which is clearly far from the truth. If under this false assumption, you open the door of the oven or even turn the oven off, the cake is effectively unbaked and ruined.

This is very similar to the process of the manifestation of your desires. When creating what you want, the ‘heat from the oven‘ can be compared to your positive mental focuswhich allows your desire to grow. With this sustained background condition in place, your desire will eventually expand like the loaf of bread. With continued positive mental focus, even if it appears as though nothing is happening in the progression of what you want, the energy you project towards your desire will give it the conditions the ‘bread’ needs to ‘cook’.

Disappointment is actually an indicator that what it is you desire is not quite ready for you yet.

Whenever you feel a slowing down in the pace of what you want, remember that you’ve already got the recipe for true success – your authentic self + passion + your desire. Recheck your positive mental focus and your energy projection (the ‘oven settings’) and exercise patience. Eventually, manifestation always occurs.

On that note, I must dash – there’s an apple pie in the oven that requires my attention.
