The root to it all – Muladhara

The root to it all – Muladhara

Muladhara – What is it? The Root chakra. The word Muladhara breaks down into two Sanskrit words: Mula meaning “root” and Adhara, which means “support” or “base.” Other names for this chakra are Base, First, Red, Coccygeal, Coccyx Chakra. The Root chakra is the foundation of the chakra system at the base of the spine and groin area, this is the animal or base nature. It is the most physical of our chakras;  Safety, security and stability are important keywords for a healthy base chakra as without these you do not have the feeling of belonging in your physical reality and tend to live in a world of illusions and poor feelings. It is not only the color of blood that connects it to the Root Chakra but it is the vital source, keeping you alive, transporting nutrients and life force around your entire system. It is a core part of your survival and existence. The lesson of this chakra is self-preservation; we have a right to be here.     Imbalances in the root chakra If there is an imbalance in the root chakra you may experience anxiety disorders, fears, or nightmares. Physical imbalances may manifest as problems in the colon, with the bladder, or with lower back, leg, or feet issues. In men, prostate problems may occur. Eating disorders may also be a sign of a root chakra imbalance. Emotional imbalances include feelings affecting our basic survival needs: loneliness, money, shelter, food and the ability to provide. When this chakra is balanced, you feel supported, a sense of connection and safety to the physical world, and grounded. Opening and healing your root chakra Going for a walk and getting outside is one of the best methods in opening your root chakra. Especially if you’re barefoot feel the ground beneath your feet, then sit down and feel mother nature pulling on the base of your spine towards the core of the earth and think red. The root chakra is related to the color red so envisioning  a red flame glowing brightly at the base of your spine can help clear the root chakra. You can start with a meditation visualizing the red flame at the base of your tailbone and picture the light extending down to your legs and feet and grounding you to the earth. Eat Red Fruit, Vegetables and anything naturally red. As mentioned in my earlier post “wheel’s to the infinite you.” Eating naturally red food’s, which is the color of the root chakra will give your root chakra an instant boost. Wear Red Clothing. If  you wear red this will also give your root chakra a boost, this is also the same if you sleep in red bedding or in a red-painted room etc Dance. Dancing is one of the best way to open and heal your root chakra. The spontaneous movements that emerge while dancing the base chakra tend to draw inspiration from tribal dancing, as found in the indigenous cultures of Africa, Australia and North America. These tribal dances are linked to the issues of the base, including our roots, survival and grounding. Do yoga. Many yoga postures are designed to cleanse this chakra. . Repeat positive affirmations.  Repeating positive affirmations associated to the root chakra are very powerful methods in opening your root chakra. These include affirmations...

The secret to the life you always wanted – Creative visualization (Part 2)

The secret to the life you always wanted – Creative visualization (Part 2)

Power of creative visualization Creative Visualization is also known as a form of therapy also called imagery therapy.  Doctors; such as Dr Weil, found that by having patients visualize certain things in their head, many of these patients can go through accelerated healing even from deadly diseases. Creative visualization is the act of seeing in your mind’s eye, that which you want to attract in your life, whether it is a positive outcome to a difficult situation or a cure to an illness or disease you have. What ever it could be, Creative visualization can help in all these areas. Dr. Cathryne Maciolek, a D.C. area psychotherapists, uses visualization in her clinical practice.  She quotes Rosabeth Moss Kanter to illustrate the power of the technique, “A vision is not just a picture of what could be; it is an appeal to our better selves, a call to become something more.” She explains that visualization is a means of control in an uncontrollable situation. Dr. Maciolek states that “Visualization is not only used to cope with psychological diagnoses such as anxiety and depression, but it can be used in our everyday lives.”  For patients battling anxiety, Dr. Maciolek uses visualization to create “mental vacations.” This technique involves imagining a place that is calm and comforting. . 5  energy visualization tips I learnt these visualization tips from Jeffery Allen a spiritual teacher and they have made a profound impact to my life. I feel whilst on the topic of visualization, I have to share… Focus – Attention & clarity: Clear thinking and intuition requires your focus and attention. Tip: Imagine there is a magnet behind your eyes gathering all your scattered energy and attention. Feel your energy begin to concentrate behind your eyes. Give yourself one minute to collect your energy before opening your eyes and continuing your day. Inspiration & Creativity: Let your creative energy flow, being creative requires energy. Tip: Imagine streams of energy flowing above you being drawn into your head. Feel it go down through your neck, down your arms, and into your hands. After one minute, start opening and closing your hands to increase the flow of creative energy. Boundaries – Give yourself room to breathe: Whenever you are overwhelmed by your day, use this visualization to give yourself the room to breathe and maintain a strong presence energetically. Tip: Imagine a warm, glowing aura expanding from your body until it’s about arms-length on all sides. Feel the bubble of energy around you making it easier to breath and be more aware of your body. Grounding – Be powerfully present in your body: It’s funny how easily we can get scattered during the day. So many things call our attention that we can forget where we are. Reconnecting with your body and the earth is the fastest way to achieve a peaceful, powerful presence. Tip: Imagine a tree extending from your hips deep into the earth. As you root, feel yourself becoming powerfully present in your body. Hold this intention for one minute. You will feel grounded and connected to the earth and the effects will last for hours. Decisions – Visualize your future possibilities: Visualization is a powerful tool for intuition and making choices! Tip: Imagine a movie screen or stage before your eyes. Think of three possible choices you might make...

The secret to the life you always wanted – Creative visualization (Part 1)

I have changed my life for the better using creative visualization and I believe this is one of the best tool’s to manifest anything you want. A lot of  Athletes, entrepreneurs, actors, doctors and students are all known to regularly use creative visualization… so what is the hype about and how can it benefit us?    Creative visualization, what is it? Creative visualization is a mental technique that uses the imagination to make dreams and goals come true. Creative visualization is a powerful technique. If applied correctly, the power of visualization can transform your life. It will help you in attracting to your life anything you wish. Creative visualization uses the power of the mind, and is the power behind every success. By visualizing vivid scenarios you can carry out, you condition your subconscious mind to act upon it. This is because the subconscious mind is unable to tell the difference between a real experience and something that is just imagined, as scientific research suggests. Mastering creative visualization gives you control over your thoughts at the subconscious level. While there are several ways to programme the subconscious mind, visualization is the most effective and its results the most rapid.     What the mind believes the mind achieves, What you visualize, you can carry out, What you think, you become, What you concentrate your attention on, you can attract.   How to visualize? Set yourself a meaningful goal, something that is going to serve you positively, not a goal that is going to feed into low dimensional emotions like the ego. Once you have a clear idea of your goal set the mood. It’s vital that you are in a relaxed and positive state of mind when you attempt creative visualization. Once you’re feeling relaxed enter a meditative state, use any regular meditation deepening or count down tool to reach a deep level of mind.  For most people, all that you need is a few minutes spent focusing on slow, steady breathing. Once your mind feels quiet and still, start creating an image of the thing you want, taking as much time as you need to build up all the details.  Try to make the environment as realistic as possible, and do your best to include all five senses, experience not just the sights but also the sounds, scents and every different sort of  sensation associated with your goal. When you express gratitude, you feel all the amazing positive feelings associated with what your grateful for. Do the same when you visualize, hold onto all the positive higher frequency feelings associated with the goal that you are visualizing about. Try to hold onto these feelings and repeatedly affirm your belief that you will soon attract the things you yearn for. Finish with a blessing, ask the universe to let what you have daydreamed manifest in your life.  Then thank the universe for having your back and supporting all your hopes and dreams. Then feel the gratitude in your core, feel all the emotions connected to you living your dreams! Creative visualization takes dedication and regular practice to manifest results. This is the issue many people struggle with. They visualize for two or three weeks, and start to become skeptics when they have not become rich or got that certain car they have visualized about for the last few weeks. Stay calm,...

Are you absolutely 100% sure?

Are you absolutely 100% sure?

Just got a note from the Universe in my inbox: “In all things Kenneth, always and forever, simply wish the best for all involved, without stating what you think that is. And then, whatever does happen, no matter what happens, know that it was. All the best, The Universe Perception…One event can be perceived in as many varieties as there are humans on our planet. A piece of music can be defined as beautiful or ugly…Depending on the ears that listen. A movie can touch ones heart, while it bores the life of a another person. A taste can be delicious and disgusting…A smell…A word…It is all interpreted through our own filters of perception. Is it really true? Let´s take an example with one of our videos on youtube. Some say “this is scary. This sounds like hell. This sounds evil.” And others say “this is the best healing I have experienced. This is so calming. This is really beautiful and peaceful. So full of love.”   What is true? Your own reality is true. It is not the music itself that is scary or calming. It is our thoughts and beliefs about it; the pictures and inner dialog we have with ourselves; that creates the scary or peaceful feelings. The challenge for us humans is to actually realise that we ourselves create this, and to know and respect that other people do not have the same reality. Maybe this is one of the greatest evidence of spiritual maturity? It fosters tolerance, patience, peace and collective love. My personal perception, is just MY perception. Not the ultimate truth. It´s just perception. When we come to that point in our evolution where we live this truth, which I am positive we will, how will our world look like? How are we treating each other differently? Have wars ended? The work we are doing now by healing, growing and learning, living a conscious spiritual and physical life – We are laying the foundation for the generations to come, our future reincarnations.   The Universe experiencing itself Why would the Universe choose to experience itself through humans with the exact same perception filter? There would be no diversity. No contrast. We are unique. We add our flavour to life. The spice of life. That´s why we have free will. What would happen if we use our perception to our advantage? Let me give you an example. When I started my journey in my line of work, which is helping people through therapy, coaching, speaking, training, etc. I was really uncomfortable standing in front of people. If someone were looking at their watch or mobile phone, or if they smiled “without a reason” – I immediately assumed that I said something “wrong” or that I was boring, or that the person did not want to be there. Was it true? Maybe, maybe not. For me it was true, because I reacted to it emotionally as it was. Heart pounding, mouth and throat drying up, sweating…I immediately started taking action towards a solution to this reaction. If I were going to do this successfully I could not afford to waste my energy on thoughts that did not support me. I started to train my brain to reframe situations like these.   One very effective tool...

The Killer of Life-Force!

Posted by on Nov 24, 2016 in Blog, Uncategorized | 0 comments

The Killer of Life-Force!

Self criticism…Self poisoning…Self destruction…The act of dragging one self down has many names. It is the killer of life-force. Self criticism or criticising others, it does not matter. Our subconscious mind does not know the difference between the two. People who have a huge need to criticise others have a tendency to have a strong inner critic. They replay the words that was handed down to them in their own upbringing. In this way we transfer that energy through generations. Where will it end? Have you already stopped this epidemic from spreading down your bloodline? The less we criticise others, the more positive our self talk will get, it boosts self love and it will definitely raise your vibration! I love asking questions, because they unlock potential and resources. They open doors to new worlds. I want to suggest that you take a moment and reflect over these questions: How would the world be different if we started to support ourselves the same way as we support a baby that learns how to walk? What effect would that have on the collective energy? 80% more empowering? What would happen if our self talk got 50% more uplifting and empowering than now? What is the worst thing that could happen if you stopped criticising others (self talk and directly)? What is the intention behind criticism in the first place?   Trick for eliminating negative self talk If you catch yourself in a negative inner dialog about yourself or others – imagine that your inner voice becomes a Mickey Mouse voice, or your own voice after inhaling helium. If a person have the tendency to say for example “I am not good enough, I am not smart enough, I can´t do this, etc” Saying it with a Mickey Mouse, helium or Donald Duck voice will change the energy of the negative statement. The neurological signals and chemistry in the brain become entirely different. Do it now and feel it for yourself. It also works to imagine other peoples voice in this way. Be creative. How about doing negative self talk with a really sexy voice…Or a sexy helium voice…   Internal and external criticism will never fix a problem, it will only reinforce it. Oh yes. Focusing on a problem is like throwing gasoline on a fire. Every time we criticise we reinforce the problem. We are connected. My energy and focus have an effect on my surroundings. If we want to create change we have to focus on how we want it to be. We can´t change others. Especially not by criticising. We can get conscious, and stop the negative self talk, change focus; change energy. When you change focus, it is not about neglecting the problem, or saying that everything is ok. It is about doing something that creates change, instead of holding on to the negative loop.
Holding on to the problem for the sake of “punishing” someone else is self punishment. Doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting something different to happen is the definition of madness. – Einstein   All in all, it is about waking up! We are here to shine! Empowering self talk makes us more confident, happy, fulfilled, peaceful, free, loving, healthy and abundant in all areas of life. It makes you shine stronger! I have a quote from Marianne...
